> What is dVeloper?
Many times crucial details are hidden in video due to poor lighting or improperly adjusted and maintained cameras and video equipment. When dealing with color video, details are often more prevalent in one color than another. With dVeloper, it’s easy to isolate the video color space that holds the most valuable information. With the click of the mouse, dVeloper compensates for the poorly exposed video. By analyzing the entire video, or just a region of interest, dVeloper automatically adjusts brightness, contrast and gamma to bring out more detail.
dVeloper removes noise and video graininess through a time-lapse processing technique called frame averaging. When the target remains still for even a moment, video noise and other transient items like rain and snow are removed, revealing the details hidden beneath.

Security cameras often store video in a multiplexed video format. Instead of an individual video recorder for each camera, the security system rotates through the cameras and records an individual image from each camera to a single video recorder. The reordering process goes something like this (keep in mind there are 30 frames per second available on NTSC video):
Camera 1/Frame 1 – Camera 2/Frame 2 – Camera 3/Frame 3
Once the rotation is complete, the recording goes back to Camera 1 and starts the whole process over again. dPlex, from Ocean Systems, is a universal video demultiplexing tool that allows you to isolate individual cameras from multiplexed video. The results are amazing.
> What is Magnifi?
Magnifi enlarges a section of the video and displays the result either full screen, or to a user defined portion of the screen. Once the target area is defined, and an output mode is selected, the analyst magnifies the image using the zoom control. The analyst can leave the enlarged image as is, or select a mathematical filter to further clarify the results. Magnifi provides independent controls of both target and output borders. These are especially useful when presenting the results in court.
You have complete control over the Target and Output Border color, shape and size. For your output, you can choose from four output views (off, full, 90% full, and quad), adjust a variable zoom control, adjust brightness, contrast, gamma and opacity, rotate your footage 360 degrees, and apply any of 12 mathematical filters to further clarify the results.
> What is Spotlight?
Spotlight is a quick and easy to use dTective module that allows the analyst to select a region of video highlight or blur. You can define a shape anywhere from a square to a circle, then work with either the inside or outside of that shape using different filters, including blur, mosaic and scatter. All of these filters have a variable intensity setting. You can even apply a border color to the shape to focus more attention on your area of interest. All of the settings can be changed over time, allowing you to track a face or object as it moves as well as adjust your settings to accommodate for the object changing size as it gets closer or further away in the video.

arithMATIC allows you to perform mathematical operations on a single video clip or you can two do comparisions between 2 pieces of video.
Listed below is a summary of the tools available in the arithMATIC plug in:
Addition – will allow the user to brighten an image by adding the corresponding pixel values from two tracks of video.
Subtraction – will allow the user to see what has changed between two images by subtracting the pixel values of the second video track minus the corresponding pixel values from the first video track.
Multiplication – will also allow the user to brighten the image by multiplying the corresponding pixel values from two tracks of video.
Division – will also allow the user to perform change detection in the image by dividing the pixel values of the second video track by the corresponding pixel values from the first video track.
Scaling – is a subset of the Multiplication function. It allows the user to multiply the two tracks by a number of greater than 1 to brighten the image and less then 1 to darken an image. Scaling works on all four modes.

Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs.
Windows 7 was released to manufacturing (RTM) on July 22, 2009, with general retail availability set for October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista.
New and changed features:
Windows 7 includes a number of new features, such as advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, DirectAccess, and kernel improvements. Windows XP Mode runs Windows XP in a virtual machine and redirects displayed applications running in Windows XP to the Windows 7 desktop. The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) of Windows 7 is also enhanced to support real-time multimedia application including video playback and 3D games. Taskbar:
The taskbar has seen the biggest visual changes, where the Quick Launch toolbar has been replaced with pinning applications to the taskbar. Buttons for pinned applications are integrated with the task buttons. These buttons also enable the Jump Lists feature to allow easy access to common tasks. The revamped taskbar also allows the reordering of taskbar buttons. To the far right of the system clock is a small rectangular button that serves as the Show desktop icon. This button is part of the new feature in Windows 7 called Aero Peek. Hovering over this button makes all visible windows transparent for a quick look at the desktop. In touch-enabled displays such as touch screens, tablet PCs, etc., this button is slightly wider to accommodate being pressed with a finger. Clicking this button minimizes all windows, and clicking it a second time restores them. Additionally, there is a feature named Aero Snap, that automatically maximizes a window when it is dragged to either the top or left/right edges of the screen. This also allows users to snap documents or files on either side of the screen to compare them. When a user moves windows that are maximized, the system restores their previous state automatically. This functionality is also accomplished with keyboard shortcuts. Unlike in Windows Vista, window borders and the taskbar do not turn opaque when a window is maximized with Windows Aero applied. It’s not required, because it’s OEM. Windows will be premanently activated.
However, it’s well known that there is some problems with DELL and HP machines.
So if you have issues with pre-activation you’ll be forced to some activator to activate Windows 7.
Installation Info:
- Download and extract using WinRAR.
- Use NERO to burn the ISO image called “faXcooL.Windows.7.Ultimate.ENG.x86-x64.ACTiVATED”
- Burning speed should not be faster than 4x. Otherwise, it might not work.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure you’ve seleceted your DVD-ROM/RW drive as a first boot device
* Enter the BIOS pressing the DEL button, set the option, insert your Windows 7 installation and restart computer.
- The black screen will appear (image 01).
- Press any key to boot from CD or DVD…. (by pressing the key you’re entering the setup)
- Select your language, time and currency and keyboard input (optionaly)
- Click install now
- Choose your edition (x86 is 32-bit, x64 is 64-bit) depending of CPU type you have.
*Choose x64 if you have 64-bit processor.
- Click “I accept”.
- Click “Custom (advanced).
- Choose your partition/hdd drive where Win7 should be installed and click format.
*You might get some error if you have two or more hard disks with different connectors (ATA and SATA).
If you get an error, turn off one of your hard disks and repeat the whole proces.
- After formatting, setup will continue automaticly and it will finish after 15-30 min.
- Next step would be username (Image 17).
- Type your password (if you want).
- When you get the screen for CD-KEY just ignore it leaving blank.
*Uncheck the box for automaticly activation and click next.
- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.
- And that would be all about installation. You’re in Windows now.
How to change Language:
Start off by accessing the Control Panel through the Start MenuThen select Change Display Challenge under the Clock, Language, and Region Box. If youre in Classic View, select Regional and Language Options.
Make sure youre on the Keyboards and Languages tab and click on Install/Uninstall Languages
Select the 2nd option and Browse to your DVD drive or where you had previously extracted the ISO. You only need to navigate to the directory in which the language pack is in. For some reason, the ISO doesnt show up as a selectable option. (Microsoft may offer these language packs as optional updates in the near future.)
Click Open and Windows will automatically find the language pack. Accept the EULA and Install the Language Pack. This can take quite a while. Once youre done, youll be asked if you want to switch to the installed language pack. Whenever you switch language packs, you will have to log off and log back in for the changes to take into effect. In the future when you want to change language packs that have already been installed, head back to the Keyboards and Languages tab under Regional and Language Options and you should be able to select from a menu of different language packs. Just want to note that Windows 7 Beta actually switched to my new language pack without me having to log off even though it had asked me to.
